Offer us a space
The hardest part of every event is finding the right room. If you have one, or know one, tell us. We bring the projector.
Support us
Passenger Cinema is run entirely by volunteers. Nobody takes a wage. What we raise goes straight back into the next screening.
Where it goes
Every event has to pay for itself before it can happen. A licence for the film, a room for the day, a projector and a sound system if the room hasn’t got them, and the posters that get people through the door.
Ticket prices cover most of it, and we keep them deliberately low so that money is never the reason someone doesn’t come. Donations are what close the gap, and what let us take a risk on a film nobody has heard of.
Other ways to support
The hardest part of every event is finding the right room. If you have one, or know one, tell us. We bring the projector.
Front of house, photography, programming, carrying things. Most of our volunteers came to a screening first and stayed.
Bring a friend to the next one, or send them the link. Almost everyone who comes was told about us by a person, not an advert.
Organisations
If you are a company, a venue or a funder, there is more we could do together.
We have partnered with cinemas, film schools, craft spaces, restaurants and cultural organisations across London, Istanbul, Barcelona and Dublin. Sponsorship can mean funding a screening, hosting one, or bringing something to it that we could not make ourselves.
